On Monday, November 13th from 6-9PM my studiomate and I are hosting a show at Shady Palms to celebrate our safe little studio space and show off the amazing work of some friends who get how important it is to work with your hands and share your insides with the outside world.

In this 12 hour/4week class students will learn a more in depth approach to tapestry weaving - how to plan and design a tapestry project, where to source desired materials and how to finish their woven tapestry. Open to all level weavers – we will meet you where you’re at! If beyond basic weaving, we’ll dive right in to your project design so you can get started.
BYOL – Bring your own loom to work on or purchase one in class.
The looms we’ll be working on are made locally by master woodworker, Jason Stumpf and the beautiful fiber is hand selected by Christina of Chelsea Yarns. Light snacks and refreshments are provided.

Spend a summer afternoon learning the technique of natural bundle dyeing at Norse Studio.
In this 3-hour workshop you will learn how to treat fabric to be able to hold natural dyes, extract color and pattern from natural and floral material - all while experimenting with the technique of bundle dyeing.
